What is the best option for your skin?
What product do you usually use in your morning routine?
A BB cream, CC or foundation?
Maybe you are confused with so many options and you don’t know where to start?
We help you to understand the difference between all of them, which one would suit your daily routines and we propose you our selection of natural products.
Let’s take it one step at a time!
First let’s define what a BB cream, a CC cream and what is the difference between them.
A BB cream is a cream with pigments that apart from moisturising the skin, unifies the tone to conceal small imperfections. Its name Blemish Balm Cream literally means balm for imperfections.
Who is the BB cream suitable for?
Basically for young skins that need small corrections. They usually have a light coverage with a natural and luminous finish, very fluid and easily absorbed textures and a low tint tone, nude type. Sometimes they incorporate sun protection factor. They work great on dry skin as they provide hydration and a feeling of freshness.
We suggest this natural BB Cream by Mádara with Rosa moqueta extract that moisturises and natural pigments in 2 different tones that instantly perfect the skin.

The CC cream like the BB cream cares for the skin while adding colour to even out the tone, but unlike the BB cream it provides more coverage. The name Colour Correcting Cream translates as colour correcting cream.
Who is CC cream suitable for?
It is more suitable for mature skin that requires medium coverage and good hydration. It is usually matte in tone, which makes it the perfect alidade for oily and shiny skin. It blends easily and sometimes incorporates a sun protection factor.
Our choice of natural CC cream is from Juice Beauty. It has a perfectly balanced formula that includes moisturising Aloe vera, green apple and grape extracts, antioxidant Vitamin E and Vitamin C, SPF 30 and natural pigments that even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
If you prefer to use a foundation for full coverage, we suggest you choose one with naturally sourced ingredients and some extra skin care. We love Ere Perez foundations for their light textures, wide variety of shades and long wear.
Ere Perez oatmeal foundation is formulated with natural oat milk that balances the pH and provides a light exfoliation. It also contains peach extract and vitamin E to promote healthy, hydrated skin. It is available in 6 shades with a healthy glow finish and is suitable for sensitive skin.
If you’re looking for a matte finish, Ere Perez Quinoa foundation is the ideal choice. Its vegan, lightweight, water-based formula is enriched with quinoa to fight inflammation and increase elasticity, and blackcurrant for extra antioxidants and vitamins.
Available in 3 shades with light to medium coverage.
And now that you know the difference between a BB cream, CC cream and foundation, how do you apply them?
Well, just like foundation, with a brush or directly with your fingers.
Check out our Ere Perez and Juice Beauty vegan brushes that take application to the next level.
