HISTORY

In the middle of the 19th century in Germany, the Kost family had been handcrafting a wide variety of combs from horn, bone, tortoise shell, wood... These materials were largely replaced by the "plastic age" and the manufacture of wooden combs became an almost forgotten craft.

When Martin Kost's grandfather realised in the mid-1970s that combing also had an impact on health, he abandoned plastic production and returned to the manufacture of high-quality wooden combs in the family tradition.

CONCEPT

With the increased ecological and health awareness, which developed in the course of the 80s and 90s, the wooden comb emerged from its niche again to take its rightful place. Kost Kamm also pays special attention to natural hair brushes, which are available in all possible sizes, shapes and bristle types that contribute to a balanced and healthy hair structure.

The product range is completed by cosmetic brushes, hair colouring brushes, brushes for massage, bath and sauna, household articles ... everyday articles made of natural materials.
