Fushi

STORY  

Ria Pattni, co-founder of Fushi grew up in Kenya and was influenced from an early age by the practice of Ayurveda. It was her husband and business partner Rannesh who came up with the idea to create Fushi. He was inspired by his childhood and his grandfather, who grew herbs and created simple remedies to take care of his health. This cross-cultural heritage motivated both of them to create a holistic and healthy wellness brand, and to bring herbs back into people's lives in a way they could easily understand. 

Thus 10 years ago Fushi was born meaning "eternal life".

Initially it started with a range of herbal tinctures, and then slowly evolved to encompass both health and beauty. Now the brand has over 350 products, all made sustainably, ethically and with pure organic ingredients in their London workshop.

CONCEPT 

All the herbs in Fushi's formulations are organic and biodynamically grown; their products are manufactured to high quality, ethical standards and are suitable for vegans. All processing, from cold-pressing the pure oils to grinding the fresh herbs, is done by hand in the brand's London workshop. The ingredients are sourced from the current season's harvest, which means that all products are less than 3 months old. 

All Fushi packaging is biodegradable or recyclable: they use 100% biodegradable polystyrene sponges and avoid using unnecessary packaging wherever possible, so they don't use cartons or boxes even for glass bottles.
