STORY

Born and raised in Paris, living in Los Angeles, for Valerie Gradury it all started after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She realised that if she wanted to heal herself [and her children to have a livable planet] she would have to make it her mission to remove all the toxins from her environment, starting with the products she was applying to her skin every day. Like most French women, she loved bare, radiant skin without make-up!

French skincare is all about efficacy, concentration of actives, research and results; and this is exactly what Valerie wanted, without a hint of toxins. Not finding this "French efficacy" on the market that was also completely pure, she decided to create a line that would unite the expertise of French cosmetics with the green lifestyle of California. Thus in 2009 Odacité was born, pioneering the green beauty movement to prove that when it comes to skincare, you don't need to sacrifice performance for purity, you can have it all!

CONCEPT

Odacité embodies the alliance of ancient medicinal plant knowledge with the research and clinical studies of modern science. Backed by clinical studies, skin phytotherapy [skin treatment with plants] is the culmination of thousands of years of experience and modern research.

Odacité believes that beauty is a reflection of health. Each and every one of its products is a fusion of French skin care and the eco-Californian lifestyle, creating personalised routines based on the physical changes in the skin on a daily basis.

Odacité selects only botanicals that are organic, wildcrafted or grown without chemicals, far from pollution. It never uses any of these ingredients: fillers, preservatives, parabens, phenoxyethanol, Nanoparticles, Petrochemicals, PEGs, Perfumes and synthetic colourants.
