In each product's data sheet, you will find detailed information about its ingredients and certifications.

Patch tests are used to determine how your skin reacts to a product. It is important to do a patch test before introducing a new product into your routine, as everyone´s skin is unique.  Something that is fine for one person may be very irritating for another.

Apply a small amount of product to a clean area of skin; we recommend the inside of the elbow.

Keep the area dry and evaluate after 24 hours. If any irritation, burning, itching or redness occurs during the test, do not continue using the product.

If your skin is very sensitive, we recommend that you test new products for several days before using them on the desired body part.

Although the patch test is a good indication of how your skin initially reacts to a product, it does not guarantee that you will not get a reaction when you apply the product to other areas of the body or after continued use.

Patch tests cannot diagnose contact dermatitis or hypersensitivity. Consult your GP if you are concerned about the above or if you plan to introduce a new skin care item into your routine.

Payment is made in advance at the time of confirming the consultation.  If you cancel your appointment, the amount paid will be refunded within 7 working days of cancellation.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

You can cancel your order before it has been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you. If your order has been dispatched, you must wait for it to be received and return the items in perfect condition and in their original packaging.

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns, however, if you believe your product is faulty, please contact us at info@maikaionline.com for a solution as soon as possible.

We cannot accept returns or process refunds due to skin conditions or allergic reactions. Please make sure you always read the full list of ingredients, and the instructions for use in the product description before placing your order.

We recommend that you check the ingredients for possible allergies before purchasing a cosmetic product. If in doubt, please ask your doctor.

Once we receive the parcel, we will proceed to check its conditions and if everything is fine you will receive a refund by the original or agreed payment method, no later than 7 working days after we have received the goods. 

Please note that we will not accept returns on opened or used items

We recommend you return your package by Recorded Delivery or using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods as Maikai is not liable for lost returned parcels nor for the return costs.
